Types of Funeral

We offer a full range of funerals from the most basic to the most elaborate to suit different budgets.

The funeral service is a way of saying goodbye to someone who has died. We will let you know all the options available to you and make sure the funeral will be in accordance with your wishes and those of your lost loved one or friend.

The most basic funeral is a direct cremation. Even within this option you can choose to view your loved one in our chapel of rest, select flowers and (for a limited number of people) still attend.

A direct cremation or simple funeral can reduce costs, compared to a traditional funeral.

We can also make the funeral that you arrange for your loved one to be completely bespoke if you wish.

There are two types of service available to you. A religious service is taken by a person of the cloth who will stipulate a divine theme. Our non-conformist services are taken by Ralph or Edward Poole who will incorporate as much or as little religion as you wish.
